If you keep logging in with your pin number but the system keeps asking you to re-enter your pin number then you may not have cookies enabled. Cookies are required to remember your pin number so you don't have to keep re-typing it.

To enable cookie on Internet Explorer 5 and later versions follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Internet Options".
  2. Click on the "Security" tab.
  3. Click the "Custom Level" button.
  4. Scroll down to the section labled "Cookies"
  5. Select either "Enable" or "Prompt" from the "Allow cookie that are stored on your computer" sub heading.
  6. Click Ok.
  7. Click Ok.
  8. Try to log in to the site again.

 

If your browser is configured to prompt you before accepting cookies make sure that you are click the "Yes" button to accept the cookie each time the prompt window pops up.

To find out what browser version you are using

  1. Click the "Help" menu at the top of your screen and click on the "About" option which will probably be the last option in the menu.
  2. This will bring up a window that should tell you the browser version. It be something like "Internet Explorer 4.0.1" or something similar.

     

    What is a cookie?

    Some Web sites store information in a small text file, called a "cookie," on your hard disk.

    Cookies contain information about you and your preferences. For example, if you inquire about a flight schedule at an airline's Web site, the site might create a cookie that contains your itinerary. Or it might only contain a record of which pages within the site you visited, to help the site customize the view for you the next time you visit.

    Only the information that you provide, or the choices you make while visiting a Web site, can be stored in a cookie. For example, the site cannot determine your e-mail name unless you choose to type it. Allowing a Web site to create a cookie does not give that or any other site access to the rest of your computer, and only the site that created the cookie can read it.
